Biography
Ryan earned his Ph.D. in Integrated Studies in ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. His expertise lies in higher education internationalization, critical policy analysis, international student mobility, and poststructural research methods. He has published his research in the academic journals Globalisation, Societies and ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳; Higher ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Policy; and Discourse: Studies in the Cultural Politics of ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳. He also has presented his research at the American ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳al Research Association (AERA), the American Sociological Association (ASA), the Comparative and International ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Society (CIES), and the Canadian Society for the Studies in ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ (CSSE). Ryan currently serves as a peer reviewer for several academic journals and professional research conferences in his field.
