Our mission as a student-led electric race team is to design, build, and race cutting-edge electric vehicles.
Formula SAE is a student design competition sanctioned by SAE International. The goal of the competition is to design, build, and test a prototype 1/4-scale Formula One style racecar. At ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳, the Formula SAE Team consists of 10-15 members of various majors.
Our mission as a student-led electric race team is to design, build, and race cutting-edge electric vehicles while fostering teamwork, innovation, and a passion for sustainable transportation within our members. Through hands-on experience and collaboration, we aim to develop and enhance valuable skills in engineering, project management, and leadership in our student members.

ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Formula SAE Electric
The ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Formula SAE team is one of the student-run teams that make up Clarkson's SPEED Program. Formula SAE is a student design competition sanctioned by SAE International. The goal of the competition is to design, build, and test a prototype 1/4-scale Formula One style race car. The target marketing group is the average weekend autocross racer. The Clarkson Formula SAE Team consists of 10-15 members of various majors.
Why join?
Any ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ student is welcome to join our team. We accept all majors due to the wide variety of work that can be done on the team. The majority of the team members are Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. Students are also welcomed from any year. You can show up to our weekly Wednesday meetings at 7pm in CA101.
